For authors
KS Studies is an open access journal which publishes online academic articles as soon as they have been successfully double-blind peer-reviewed and completed the preparation for publishing. Issues will be completed in their final form twice a year, made up of these articles. Each issue will have around six-eight articles and the editors reserve the right to reject submissions based upon capacity reasons.
Articles in this journal are academic works in the area of Christian theology and religious studies. The editors reserve the right to reject submissions before the review process if they are beyond these areas or are deemed to be insufficient regarding academic standards or language.
Authors must ensure their texts adhere to the requirements of the journal as described below in this page. The editors will return submissions to authors when the journal requirements are not met, or if other errors are evident, with a request that the article is revised so that the journal’s requirements are followed.
Submitted articles must be original works of an appropriate academic standard, that is, scientific level and suitable quality of language. Papers should contribute new approaches, ideas, or viewpoints, and be presented in a clear and logical manner. Author’s positions should be based on their own research and be supported appropriately, such as by evidence, sources, and appropriate argumentation.
Texts that are accepted by the editors undergo a double-blind peer-review process. Authors are then informed of the decision of the reviewers and, if successful, then enter the text preparation process before being published online on this website.
Submission requirements
The length of articles should be between approximately 20000-50000 characters (including spaces). Exceptions to this should be justified and arranged with the editors before or at submission and the editors reserve the right to reject short or overly long texts.
